What projects do students work on? Students bring their own projects into shop. |
| What are job prospects? Job Prospects are very good. Once students complete the course, unions will pick up students that have their certifications. |
 Oxyacetylene Welding: The foundation of welding. The basics are covered, like gas welding, bracing, soldering as well as forging and black smithing basics. |
 Ocyacetylene Cutting: Learn how to perform the art of cutting from I-Beams to sheet metal |
How much can students earn after completing the class? Pay scale ranges from $8.00/hour to $35.00/hour. Certifications are a must for the high end of the pay scale. |
| How long will it take students to complete the class? The class is open entry and students can start at any time. It all depends on the individual student since everyone learns at a different speed. Consistent attendance helps students to achieve their goal faster. |
