Interested students must:
- Be between 18-30 years old
- Have valid work authorization
- Meet the city of LA's income requirement for program
The internship is a 10-month program, where students will be able to choose among eight (8) different career fields.
- Education and Child Care
- Early Childhood
- Housing Rights
- Health, Climate and Environmental Justice
- Immigration Assistance
- Nutrition and Food Security
- Technology and Digital Equity
- Adult Day Services
Those who make the cut will work approximately 40 hours/month, making $1,000/month. At the time the program begins, they must also be enrolled in an educational program (whether they are continuing their education with DACE or going to a college).
