LAUSD’S Summer Earn & Learn Showcase Event is a celebration of incredible career pathway opportunities for our high school students! The Division of Instruction’s (DOI) Summer Internship Program provides interns with paid employment opportunities, while the Division of Adult & Career Education (DACE) provides hands-on career training programs through their Career Empowerment Academy! These “Earn and Learn” programs support LAUSD’S vision of providing high-quality, industry-aligned career pathways alongside rigorous college pathways. This showcase event, held at the beautiful Wilmington Waterfront Promenade, was a time to celebrate some of our successful students and to provide thanks to our many industry and employment partners!
