Child Development

These courses are designed to provide theory of early childhood education and to prepare students to become childcare workers.

The sequence of these three courses (270 hours total) are designed for those persons wanting to work with young children in an early childhood education center. Students will attend theory classes on campus and travel off campus to complete fieldwork at early childhood education centers.

RECOMMENDATION:

Students will complete fieldwork at an off-campus early education center.

Students must have reliable transportation and

proof of a negative tuberculosis test prior to the start of fieldwork.
