The Family Success Initiative (FSI) is a program through Los Angeles Unified Adult Education (LA Unified Adult) that empowers families to support student success by teaching the skills to connect with, participate in, and become leaders within their school communities. FSI honors the unique strengths of bilingual families.

Help Your Child Transition Back to School!
We are all excited to return to school in August, but change isn’t always easy. LA Unified Adult is offering free FSI classes to provide parents and guardians with targeted support to assist with the transition from learning at home to learning in the classroom. This course will guide Los Angeles Unified families through successful strategies for transitioning back to school. Parents who complete all competencies will receive a certificate of completion.
