Adult High School Graduation Information
Adult students may earn an adult High School Diploma, or improve their basic reading, language, and mathematics skills. These classes are taken in the Individualized Instruction Lab (I.I. Lab), Adult Independent Studies (AIS), or through the Accelerated College and Career Transitions (ACCT) program.
NVOC awards adult high school diplomas on a monthly basis, with one graduation ceremony at the end of the school year (June).
If you are interested in the adult high school diploma program, please stop into the Counseling Office with your high school transcripts. We will schedule you for a Reading and Math assessment, evaluate your transcripts, and discuss the various options you have to complete your goal. NVOC has three (3) different high school diploma options available. Once you have completed your assessments and orientation, your counselor will go over the options with you and guide you in which would be the best route for you to take.
If you know that you are close to completing ALL of your HSD requirements, please be sure to visit your Counseling Office to ensure that you have completed a High School Diploma application.
